Getting started with the Newton Fitness App
This app is the home base for your coaching experience. Your workouts, communication, habits, and progress all live here in one place.
After you sign up, you will receive an email inviting you to download the Newton Fitness app and create your login. This email comes from Everfit-mail.com, which powers the app behind the scenes.
If you do not see the email:
- check your spam or promotions folder
- download the app directly from the Apple App Store or Google Play
- make sure you are using the same email you signed up with
When opening the app for the first time, tap Forgot password to create or reset your password. If you still have trouble logging in, message your coach or support and we will help you.
Once logged in, do not worry about exploring everything. Some features may be enabled or disabled depending on your plan. Focus on what is assigned to you.
This guide walks you through the app in the exact order you will actually use it.
The App Layout at a Glance
At the bottom of the app you will see a few main areas. You do not need to memorize these, but it helps to know where things live.
Today
Your home screen and the most important part of the app. If something matters today, it will appear here.
Coaching
Longer term items such as your training schedule, programs, or educational resources if included in your plan.
Inbox
Where you message your coach and receive updates.
On Demand
A library of programs or workouts you can start on your own, if included in your plan. These are not tied to a specific date and can be used alongside your scheduled training.
You
Your profile and progress area where you can view metrics, settings, and history.
Start Here Every Day: The Today Screen
When you open the app, you will land on the Today screen. Think of this as your daily checklist.
The Today screen can include:
- scheduled workouts
- tasks or forms
- habit or nutrition tracking if enabled
- steps tracking
- community posts or notifications
If something is not on the Today screen, it usually does not require your attention right now.

Using Your Workouts
Workouts appear on the Today screen on the days they are scheduled.
To start a workout:
- tap the workout
- review the exercises, instructions, and demo videos
- begin when ready

During a workout you may see:
- sets, reps, or timed exercises
- rest timers or a stopwatch
- notes and cues from your coach

You can:
- log weights, reps, or time
- leave comments or feedback
- upload photos or videos for form review if requested
- swipe to the right to continue to the next exercise (notice the navigation dots at the top)
When finished all exercises, tap Complete workout to save it.
After completing a workout, you may be asked to, rate how it felt or leave a short comment
This feedback helps your coach adjust your plan.
Tasks, Forms, and Check Ins
Tasks may appear on your Today screen from time to time.
Tasks can include:
- onboarding or intake forms
- weekly or periodic check ins
- body metrics or progress photos
- short education or reflection prompts
Tap the task, complete what is requested, and mark it done.
If you do not see any tasks, you are not missing anything.
Nutrition, Habits, and Steps (If Enabled)
Depending on your plan, you may see nutrition logging, habits, or steps tracking.
Nutrition:
- log meals as instructed
- add photos or notes when helpful
- focus on consistency rather than perfection
- feedback will come directly from your coach
Habits:
- habits appear on the Today screen
- check them off as you complete them
Steps:
- steps may sync automatically from your phone or wearable
- this feature may be enabled or disabled depending on your plan
If any of these features are not visible, they are simply not part of your current coaching setup.
Community and Notifications (If Enabled)
Some plans include access to a community feed.
If enabled, you can:
- view posts from the community
- share updates or photos
- interact with other members
Notifications may also appear on the Today screen to highlight updates from your coach or the app.
Messaging Your Coach
Use the Inbox to communicate with your coach.
You can message your coach to:
- ask questions
- share wins or challenges
- clarify workouts or expectations
- report issues
Enable notifications so you do not miss replies.
If you do not see the Inbox, it may be disabled on your plan.

Your Profile and Progress
The You section is where you can view:
- progress history
- body metrics or photos if assigned
- personal information and settings
This area is mainly for reference and does not need daily attention.
What to Focus On
Daily:
- open the app
- check the Today screen
- complete what is assigned
Weekly:
- complete check ins if assigned (depending on plan)
- communicate with your coach (depending on plan)
You do not need to use every feature to be successful.
Final Notes
You cannot break anything in this app.
If something looks confusing, missing, or incorrect, message your coach or contact support.
The app supports your coaching. Consistency and communication matter more than perfection.
